Michael Healey has a passion for creating functional art. He has spent much of his life balancing and melding traditional arts with engineering and technology. Having grown up in the US, Michael studied design at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. Since then he has also trained in furniture making, mechanical engineering, and computer aided design. After moving to Ireland in 2022, Michael formed MISH, a brand focused on using sustainable materials to create beautifully unique and usable objects.
