Nandi Knitwear

NANDI is a Dublin-based textile artist and maker working with hand-knitted, one-of-a-kind garments. Her practice is material-led, shaped by the textures, colours, and qualities of the wool she sources. Her practice has developed internationally, including a formative period in Australia, where she exhibited and sold at Salamanca Market in Hobart, engaging directly with the public. Drawing from her South American heritage and experience living in Australia and Ireland, her work explores tradition, place, and contemporary craft, influenced by the Irish landscape. She also creates textile-based accessories and facilitates mindful craft workshops for corporate groups and children, and is committed to slow fashion and sustainability.
