Eva Walsh graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a BA (Hons) Glass, where she specialised in kiln-casting, creating sculptural installation. Eva was awarded with the Scottish Glass Society Prize ‘Best Glass Work in the Degree Show’. Since then, she has received bursaries and a residency and has exhibited her glass work in the UK, Europe, the USA and in Ireland. Eva currently creates fused glass and stained glass art pieces that often have hand-painted or screen-printed elements, that combine to create unique illustrative pieces. Fairy tales, Irish culture and folklore are themes that feature in her work. Eva works from her home studio in rural Co. Sligo.
