O'Flaherty Stone

Last year Killian was nominated for craftsperson of the year in the under 30s category in the SPAB Heritage Awards(Society for Protection of Ancient Buildings). Soho,London in November last year. He was the first ever Irish Nominee to be put forward for nomination in a competition of applicants from England,Ireland,Scotland,Wales and Northern Ireland and made it to the top four. Since then he has set-up my own Masonry Conservation and Craft company and taken his Sister Petra on as his Apprentice. . Killian is very proud to have taken on Petra as his apprentice , she is the first female registered apprentice stone mason in 30 years . O'Flaherty Stone is Brother and Sister team of 8th generation Stone masons - Killian master mason and is apprentice and sister Petra are Irish stonemason experts from the village of Ballyknockan , co Wicklow
