Orla Kaminska Ceramics

Orla Kaminska Ceramics

Orla Kaminska is an Irish-born, Dublin-based ceramic artist who creates large-scale architectural installations and personal, studio-based artworks. Both strands of her practice, the studio-based and the architectural, exist as separate yet interconnected parts of her work. Process and material exploration are critical to her practice. Inspired by patterns and cycles in nature, she creates rhythmical ceramic forms with metals and glass detail; and two-dimensional surfaces of weathered, textured porcelain slip, with score lines and indentation. Collections include The Ark, Temple Bar, 1999/2021; OPW - Government Buildings / Dublin Castle (1991/1995/2022/2023). Per Cent for Art Awards 1989- 2024
