The Commercial Programmes Co-Ordinator role is newly created to support the Commercial Programmes team on a number of exciting projects. The successful candidate will join an established team and work across a range of commercial programmes. This role is ideally suited to someo
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Commercial Programmes
- Support all Commercial Programmes which are focused on creating commercial opportunities for maker and designers
- Participate in event management for domestic and international events & programmes
- Attend events at various time throughout the commercial programmes event cycle
- Execute programme selection processes
- Develop web and e-mail content
- Work with graphic designers & photographers
- Liaise with 3rd party event management organisers
- Work with DCCI members and 3rd party agencies and suppliers across all programmes
- Work closely with the Digital and Communications team
- Support the Head of Commercial Programmes on all programme related tasks
Reporting & Data:
- Co-ordination of data across multiple work streams
- Develop reports for commercial programmes
Finance:
- Compile tender process documentation
- Co-ordination of supplier quotes & invoices including input into Finance system
Other:
- Maintain consistent and professional attendance, punctuality and adherence to relevant health and safety procedures
- Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as required
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- 4-6 years proven experience in a Commercial / Marketing / Business-related field with a relevant degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work as part of a team
- The role is 5 days a week with some weekend cover included
Desirable:
- Knowledge or passion for the craft and design sector
- Previous experience working in event management
- Experience in CRM & form builders such as Cognito
