I am a silversmith and educator who preserves endangered ancient silversmithing techniques through finely crafted objects that reflect our relationship with the material world. Bespoke jewellery, holloware and sculptural objects are made to order. Since 2022, I have developed a series of works, including kinetic sculptures, using my adapted version of the ancient hammer techniques used to forge ribbon torcs in the Iron Age. I coined the term Anthropoware to describe these objects, which are designed to remind us of our inextricable connection to the natural world.
