crafting care le chéile is an invitation to participate in making your mark in the moment through stitch, onto a linen cloth 2.5 mts by 1.5 mts that has journeyed on trains, to street festivals, round kitchen tables, and co-creating shared spaces, offering connection, interaction, healing and joy. It is an ongoing project that came to life as part of a capstone project in art and ecology.

No experience of sewing is required, just curiosity and a willingness to pick up a thread, adding your presence through stitching, creating stories, embodying the experience that is held in the cloth, and becoming a custodian of collaborative collective creation.
