Empowering Cultural & Creative Innovation in Europe
How can creativity help Europe become more innovative, resilient and competitive? As part of Irish Design Week 2026 and Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union, this special seminar hosted in partnership with EIT Culture & Creativity explores the growing role of the cultural and creative sectors in shaping Europe’s future.
EIT Culture & Creativity is one of Europe’s largest innovation communities, supporting talent, research, education and entrepreneurship across the cultural and creative industries. Through investment, collaboration and knowledge exchange, the initiative is helping creative sectors become more sustainable, resilient and internationally competitive.
Bringing together policymakers, educators, entrepreneurs, researchers and creative professionals, the seminar will examine how creativity can act as a catalyst for innovation and economic development across Europe.
