The DOE presents: 𝓑𝓵𝓪𝓬𝓴𝔀𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓻 𝓥𝓪𝓵𝓵𝓮𝔂 𝓗𝓲𝓰𝓱 – an audio-visual document of North Cork and beyond.
Captured during 2020/2021 the work condenses 52 weeks into 60 minutes using the Celtic calendar (November to October) as a framework for an unplanned, chronological visual record of the turning of the year and the changing of the seasons.Featuring a collaborative soundtrack by audio collective North Cork Organic Group, 𝓑𝓵𝓪𝓬𝓴𝔀𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓻 𝓥𝓪𝓵𝓵𝓮𝔂 𝓗𝓲𝓰𝓱 will have a preview screening at Unit 44 this Wednesday November 15th. The work will also be installed at Unit 44 on Thursday 16th & Friday 17th at Unit 44 between 1pm & 8pm, looping on the hour every hour.
